Renewal

And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies,I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.

In many parts of the Southeast, a lush summer beauty prevails all year long. In the Northern Hemisphere, the full swing of summer fulfills spring’s promise of renewal. Whatever sorrow winter has wrought, the fullness of summer reminds us that life indeed begins again.

The possibility that we can renew ourselves — move out of the darkness and into the light — is something we can be truly thankful for. Gratitude and giving are the foundation of this magazine, upon which are built articles written with an intention in mind — to enrich and effect positive changes in the lives of all who read.

When we reflect on what we are grateful for, our thoughts inevitably come to our mentors, who make the creation of this magazine an experience of insight, growth and laughter. Also to the committed team — publishers, designers, illustrators, photographers, and the many dedicated souls who ensure our publication finds its way into the hands of readers.

Just as the greenery of summer works to unfurl itself, we work to branch out and connect people from all walks of life around the world. We offer to them with hope — hope for oneness and love.
