Insight

We are in the midst of it – 2012. And while some may have a vision of doom, countless souls are celebrating their commitment to walking a path of ascension, of higher consciousness, and those who practice Bodhi Meditation are certainly among them. What this year represents to many is an intensification of their spiritual journey, a more profound listening to the rhythm and messages of the Universe. Grandmaster JinBodhi lends his wise words to the idea of listening more deeply, not only to the people in our lives, but to every animal, plant, stone and grain of sand that make our world. The secrets of the Universe, the energy that exists in everything, are available to those who hold themselves in a state of quiet receptivity. Such a state also reveals the secrets of our own body, the wisdom that is ever-present in the Divine temple animated by the soul, ready and willing to lead us to perfect health. Helping one’s children to walk an authentic path of wellbeing is also made possible by profoundly tuning in to their unique truth. In the words of Grandmaster JinBodhi, “We need to feel the world, to listen to the world and to make use of the world out of love… ‘Listening with one’s heart’ is a principle that can be applied to all areas of life, from relationships to careers… An open heart receives limitless knowledge, energy and assistance from Nature.”

As we at Bodhi Meditation continue to work to broaden our view of the Universe, we have decided to rename our magazine Meditation & Health in order to better reflect the expansive and diverse nature of the publication. In that spirit, and to assist you on your intensifying journey into an ascended consciousness, we call upon the wisdom of the ancient Mayans, aided by a modern authority on their mysterious calendar. We also stop by the pyramids of Egypt and the Dunhuang Caves of China for inspirational and resplendent examples of ancient communication between people and the unseen forces of the Universe. And in the here and now, we examine consciousness from a scientific standpoint, and the relevance of prostration to a happy and healthy life.

As ever, Bodhi Meditation practitioners of all ages and life paths, from Vancouver to Taiwan, Singapore to New York and beyond, share their stories of physical, mental and spiritual healing and transformation. Their realization of renewed health and perspective represents those possibilities within us all, for as we awaken to oneness we understand that the illumination of a single being represents our collective illumination, a spark that is the unified flame.

It begins when we listen to the world with love.
